Personalized Glidepaths

What is my basic plan?

We develop a personalized glidepath – a “roadmap” – for you based on your financial goals, current wealth, anticipated savings, spending, and taxes. We build a customized glidepath for you based on minimizing the critical risk that you fall short of what you need, when you need it.

This personalized glidepath helps us navigate through your financial goals and will change as your needs and circumstances change.

Most glidepaths are built for the “average person” and assume the world is completely “normal.” We create custom glidepaths because we know that you are unique, and that the world today is far from normal.

Is my plan viable?

A viable plan is one that balances your long-term need for wealth accumulation and subsequent spending with concern about short-term losses. We test viability along numerous dimensions by employing mathematical techniques that simulate many possible paths that markets can take.

The simulation outcomes give us better insights into the viability of your financial plan in a variety of circumstances and increase our confidence in your plan.

How does my portfolio change with the market?

We actively adjust your portfolio to account for changing market conditions.

As certain market segments become more attractive, we shift your portfolio to own more of those areas and less of the unattractively valued areas.

Professional Role & Bio
John Ohsner, CFA, CFP® John is a professional Portfolio Manager and Financial Planner. He offers clients thoughtful design and implementation of their investment programs and financial plans. John focuses his work across a full array of services in portfolio management and financial planning, emphasizing the income and estate planning potential unique to each circumstance. John coordinates his work with other tax and legal professionals to administer different programs for brokerage, retirement, estate and trust accounts. John is a subject matter expert about Safe Havens and he contributes to the Project Dream Chaser research platform. John is a fee only fiduciary with leading tools for clients like Heximer Mobile. John promotes continuing education and offers internship opportunities with different schools. John is a member of the CFA Society of Columbus, the Columbus Estate Planning Council, and The Wellington School’s Alumni Association.
Brandon Kremer, CFA, CAIA, CIPM, FDP Brandon Kremer joined Heximer Investment Management, Inc. full time in 2016 after completing an internship with the firm in 2015. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Brandon completed the Master of Financial Economics program at Ohio University where he also attained his undergraduate degree in Economics. As an associate in the firm Brandon is responsible for administrative matters including, but not limited to: portfolio reporting, client on-boarding and any additional services that clients require. As a Portfolio Manager Brandon is a voting member on the firm investment committee with responsibilities ranging from portfolio construction and trading to client education and investment research. Brandon is originally from Lancaster, but has lived in Columbus since 2014. He enjoys golf, fantasy football and video games, but most of all he enjoys traveling with his wife.
